Health Educator
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide education programs for individuals and communities so that they can create healthy lifestyle choices. They also include developing programs so people of all ages can be encouraged to make healthy decisions in their life. Health educators usually focus on children so they can get the lesson and start their influences at a young age. They also focus are people with certain diseases such as heart disease or diabetes. Health educators help prepare educational trainings for adults and community members who decided they want to make better and healthier lifestyle choices not only for themselves but for their community. They also assess the needs of the people they serve. Lastly another thing they do is evaluate the effectiveness of public health education programs and materials.
Average Salary: $43,840 a year and $21.08 an hour.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, High School diploma

I would like to be a Health Educator because I like learning and teaching about health. I also have good communication skills and would be able to talk to different age groups with a professional or childish way. ( Depending on who I’m talking to)
