"I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right. "
                                             -Dean Smith

I believe that Mr. Dean Smith is trying to tell us that sometimes leaving a legacy doesn't always have a big impact. In order to make a difference you must do the right thing. That is how his legacy was made. When you intentionally try to leave a legacy you sometimes get to caught up with yourself that you forget what you were actually here for. When you forget about the legacy part and focus what is at hand while doing the right you make a greater impact on the people around you. When I lived in Kansas I was known by all the kids in my elementary school. Not because I was the popular kid but because I was one of the students that always behaved and did the right thing. All those kids that were younger looked up to me and told that one day they hoped to be like me. It gives you a warm feeling that you are appreciated for doing the right thing. I wasn't trying to be known around the whole and I wasn't expecting to get noticed but I did because I made the correct choices. If I were to get into fights and get bad grades then no one would look up to me for good reasons but more or less for dirty work such as finishing a job for them or getting in a fight for them. You don't have to try so hard to make sure others know you are doing the right thing. Sometimes people notice they just don't say it right then and there. You just have to be patient. So don't try to leave a legacy on purpose just do the right thing and everything will fall into place whether you get noticed or not.

Sometimes the right path is not the easiest.
"It's not about how to achieve your dreams. It's about how you lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, the karma(good results, destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you."
                                                     -Dr. Randy Pausch

I believe that this quote is trying to say that in order to have a good future you need to lead your life the correct way. There are two pathways in life, left and right. Which do you choose? The left hold the life you will have if you choose wrong such as starting drugs, becoming an addict, etc. The right path holds the good life you will have such as going to college, getting married, getting a good job, etc. So which one do you choose? If you lead your life to the left I can guarantee that your life is not going to end well. If you lead your life towards the right path, your future will be brighter with a great outlook. The reason you must choose between two paths is because you are still deciding where you are going to lead your life. At this age you are probably doing things that hurt your body already. Or you are being a responsible and productive student. Your first choice could be going to the left path because it might be easier, only because you get away from studying. But the right path may be harder but it guarantees that your future will hold many dreams come true and more to come. So have you chosen yet? I know I have. Remember choose the right instead of the left. You want a better future, you better lead your life towards the right path.

"Make Your Passion Your Profession"

“Make your passion Your Profession.”

Music is my passion. Music has been my passion since I was a little girl. Music is my passion because it has brought me out of the deepest holes I’ve fallen into. It has made me who I am today. I have been dedicated to music because I have many talents that involve it. I know how to dance, sing and play instruments. I also love writing music. I love writing songs and it comes naturally to me when I am in certain moods. Music is also another form of poetry which another reason why I like this. Ever since I can remember I have poured my feelings into the music I wrote, play, sing and dance to. I have been called a nerd for being in a High School Marching Band but it doesn’t matter because I know who I am and I know that I am a nerd. Especially a nerd with music.

I can make music my profession by becoming a singer, songwriter or I can play musical instruments for other artists in their music as their background. I can also make videos and see who can watch and hopefully be discovered and become what I’ve always dreamed of being. I can also make this my profession when I go to college and taking a music career class. And if I don’t become any of the above I can become a music teacher. I can learn how to play the many instruments and help kids that are eager to learn.

In order to become a musician the education requirements are that I can have a Bachelor’s and Associate’s Degree(not necessary), a Degree in the learning field of music. I must also have experience which means I must have several years on a specific instrument or vocals.

Some key skills I will needs is to have a Musical Talent, discipline and perseverance. In order to be a musician I must have a can-do attitude. I must enjoy my what I do because it’s not work when you love what you’re doing.

I would do whatever it would take whether it be going to school for a long time or having to go to school outside of this country just that I can have the job I want.

Image result for educating the body, mind and character quotes"Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that of educating the body, the mind, and above all the character, giving spiritual and moral training to those who are in a few years are themselves decide the destinies of the nation."
                                           -Theodore Roosevelt

I think that this statement is trying to say that the only way we can make in change in our country is by showing that we have educated our mind, our body, and our character. This means that you must have control over your actions. Your mind tells your body what to do and your body shows the character that is within you. Therefore in order to educate all you have to be able to educate one. Educate your mind so that you know what is wrong from right. Educate your body so that you don't make the wrong move. And lastly educate your character so that you show everyone that you are educated. Your body, mind and character have a lot to say about you. If you educate your mind incorrectly and say it is fine to use drugs then your bodies response will follow what your mind says. Then what your body does is intoxicate itself with drugs, therefore ruining your character because everyone who sees you is going to think you are irresponsible and have no education. On the other hand if you were to tell your mind that drugs are bad and that you need to stay away from them, your body will act differently. Your body will walk away from anyone telling you to do drugs and your character will show that you are a responsible person who is choosing the right path. Everything you do affects you in many ways. Remember your mind, body and character are all connected so educate yourself correctly.
