Operating Room Technician
Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible for various pre-, intra- and post- surgery duties within a hospital. A surgeon and registered nurses supervise them while working. They are mostly employed in hospitals but some work in outpatient care centers, ambulatory care centers, and in offices of doctors and dentist who do outpatient surgeries. They are also known as surgical technologists. There are three types of operating room technicians which are; scrub surgical technologist, circulating surgical technologists, and second-assisting technologist. Each post is responsible for different duties and requires separate skills.
Salary: $45,940 is the average salary for all operating room technicians.
Education: Graduate from a surgical technology program, 2 year Associate’s Degree, Certification, must be emotionally stable, quick responder, and conscientious.
Demand: 15% growth between 2014-2024.

I would not like to be a operating room technician because it is hard for me to be emotionally stable. I find this topic very interesting but as I said before it is very hard for me to control my emotions.
