Duties and Responsibilities:  They must have a wide knowledge of clinical medicine and be competent in a number of important areas. The occupational medicine works to prevent diseases and promote wellness amongst workers. Occupational medicine physicians must have
  • Knowledge of potential hazards in the work area including toxic properties of materials being used
  • Critique employees fitness and for work
  • Diagnose and treat occupational disease and injury
  • Know about rehabilitation methods, health education and government laws and regulations concerning workplace health
  • Manage health service delivery
Salary: $204,543-273,800 is the average salary for a Occupational Medicine Physician.

Education: 4 years of medical training( @ institute accredited by LCME), High School Diploma.

I would not like to be a occupational medicine physician because this part of the medical field does not interest me. I am more interested on the cardiovascular jobs because I think the heart is very interesting.
